After reviewing the feedback on your argument essay, identify one thing you did well and one area you need to improve. Explain what you will do differently the next time you write an AP Lang argument essay.

Prompt Response: One thing I did well was establish a clear position in my argument essay. However, I need to improve my analysis because I repeated similar ideas instead of explaining how each example supported my argument. My feedback showed that my analysis needed more depth and less repetition. Next time I write an AP Lang argument essay, I will explain what each example adds to my argument and why it matters. When revising, I will check that each sentence develops my reasoning instead of restarting an earlier point.

Summary: Today in class we received our essay feedback and started working on a poem.

Reflection: I learned how to start writing a poem. I also learned how to add figurative language.
